My integrity has been questioned openly in class (as in, "you made that up"). I hearby respond with a page out of history .. let us put our Humanities education to good use, and consult the works of one Charles Dickens .. in his 1844 novel "The Life and Adventures of Martin Chuzzlewit" (Chapter 27, page 618 in the version indicated below):
