ULI Probes and ports

We always use DIN1 for the BRASS (direct-connect) probe.

You need a source of BOILING water, and a source of ICE COLD (slushy) water - BEFORE you start calibrating.

Follow Calibration Instructions

1. Click on SETUP SENSOR bar, to the left of the COLLECT button on menu
2. Select CALIBRATE tab
3. Click on temperature probes in DIN1
4. Click PERFORM NOW button
5. Place the probe into the ice-water bath. Swirl it around to make sure it equalizes the temperature to 0 degrees.
6. Type "0" in Value box of Reading 1
7. Wait for Input numbers to stabilize {don't worry about the value - just when it basically stops changing radically .. dude} - click KEEP button
8. Place the probe into the source of boiling water, and swirl it around.
9. Repeat for Reading 2 with 100 typed in the box .. stabilize - press KEEP
